Member Roles

Understand, create, and manage the various types of member roles Webassessor.

Member Role Descriptions

Site Administrator

  • Kryterion Created

  • Site Administrators are the highest level role and have comprehensive Webassessor access. These users can perform the tasks of all member roles.

  • Unique Capabilities:

    • Cross-region reporting

    • Multi-region visibility

    • Private testing center management

  • Typically assigned to Directors

  • Can create Organizations and Organization Admins

*This role can only be created by Kryterion

Region Administrator

  • Region Administrators have comprehensive Webassessor access within a designated region. These users can perform the tasks of all member roles below it.

  • Unique Capabilities:

    • Create and manage coupons & vouchers

    • Create and manage member roles within region

  • Can create Organizations and Organization Admins

  • Typically assigned to a Certification or Operations Manager

Assessment Manager

  • Assessment Managers manage the exam catalogs

  • Oversees development of item bank(s), items, test forms, and exams

  • Typically assigned to a Psychometrician or Exam Manager

Candidate Administrator

  • Candidate Administrator manages candidate accounts

  • Creation and management of candidate accounts

  • Schedules & reschedules exams

  • Adjusts completion status of exam submissions

  • Manage coupons and vouchers for exams

  • Can generate reports

Registration Manager

  • Registration Managers manage the candidate registrations

  • Creation and management of candidate accounts

  • Schedules & reschedules exams

  • Adjusts completion status of exam submissions

  • Can issue exam refunds

Partner Administrator

  • Candidate Administrator manages candidate accounts

  • Creation and management of candidate accounts

  • Manage coupons and vouchers for exams

  • Can generate reports

  • Can create Organizations and Organization Admins

Supervisor

  • Supervisors can manage a subset of candidates

  • Issue refunds

  • Manage candidate registrations

  • Adjusts completion status of exam submissions

  • Can score essay questions manually, if assigned

Item Writer

  • Item Writers can create and manage item banks

  • Permissions can be customized at the item-bank and item-folder levels

  • Typically assigned to subject matter experts (SME), item writers, and reviewers

Private Scheduler

  • Can schedule private testing centers and events

  • Typically assigned to event coordinators, trade-show supervisors, or training managers

Reports-Only Administrator

  • Can generate and review self-service reports and extracts

  • Access is limited to the reports tab

Reviewer

  • Solely responsible for the evaluation and scoring of candidate exams that require manual review

  • Access is limited to the Scoring tab in the Candidates menu

Event Administrator

  • Responsible for management of private event security

  • Access is limited to the Private Events tab in the Testing Network menu
